Who are we?

SOSVITI is a multidisciplinary European research project dedicated to tackling soil degradation in viticulture. By integrating scientific expertise, technological innovation, and stakeholder engagement, we develop data-driven solutions to enhance soil conservation, vineyard sustainability, and climate resilience.

Our work brings together leading academic institutions and industry partners across Europe to create a Decision Support System (DSS) that empowers vineyard managers with advanced tools for sustainable soil management.

The project is led by Jesús Rodrigo-Comino, Associate Professor in the Department of Regional Geographic Analysis and Physical Geogra , coordinator of the EGEMAP laboratory (Terra Lab 2 UGR), and researcher at DaSCI at the University of Granada.
